Resumen:
Una joven irlandesa de 17 años abandona su pequeño pueblo y se va a Inglaterra en busca del chico del que está enamorada, no sabe su dirección, está perdida y es encontrada por un señor, jefe de catering de una fabrica, hombre amable, obsesivo con su trabajo y querido por todos. Vive sólo y se ofrece a cuidar y atender a la esta joven inocente y desconcertada.
Esta película nos ofrece la imagen de un hombre obsesionado por la comida pero no por el sexo, el director nos presenta un asesino en serie, coleccionista de toda clase de objetos, obsesivo, sólo y con capacidad para crearse un personaje público pero que no se sostiene en su soledad.
A través del pasado de ambos protagonistas y el presente que van viviendo juntos podemos apreciar, por una parte, una patología y por otra, cómo se va construyendo una identidad.

Abstract:
A 17-year-old Irish young woman leaves his small people and goes away to England in search of the boy of the one that is inspired love, does not know his direction, is lost and found by a gentleman, chief of catering of a factory, nice, obsessive man with his work and wanted by all. It lives only and there offers to take care and attend to this innocent and disconcerted young woman.
This movie offers us the image of a man obsessed with the food but not for the sex, the director presents us an assassin in series, collector of all kinds of objects, obsessive, only and with aptitude to be created a public personage but that is not supported in his loneliness.
Across the past of both protagonists and the present through that they are living united we can estimate, on one hand, a pathology and for other one, how its built the identity.
